Jim & Louise

Growing up on a farm, Jim was accustomed to doing everything, from driving a truck to helping out around the house. With his strong work ethic and hearty attitude, he built a successful career as a home builder in London, Ontario. While he may no longer drive, Jim brought his heart and his hands to McCormick Dementia Services where he crafted something even more important for the love of his life, his wife Louise.

By The Numbers

According to the World Health Organization, caring for dementia patients is overwhelming for caregivers. The stresses include physical, emotional and economic pressures. Care givers require support from the health, social, financial and legal systems.

According to Alzheimer Society Canada 1.1 million Canadians are affected directly or indirectly by the disease.
